Batch Code Checker
Decode the format of common fragrance batch codes and see how a production date is typically derived from them. This tool is strictly educational and demo-only — it uses illustrative sample codes, not an official manufacturer database, and it must not be relied on as proof of authenticity or as a counterfeiting detector. Always verify with the brand or an authorized retailer before any purchase decision.
Batch Code Checker
Look up a fragrance batch code to see its (illustrative) manufacturing date and factory. Pick a brand, enter the code, and hit look up.
Demo / educational lookup
This is a demo/educational lookup using illustrative codes, not an official manufacturer database. Do not rely on this as proof of authenticity. Only the brand itself can verify a batch code.
Chanel
Format4-digit code: first digit = year, remaining 3 = day-of-year
Example code
2104Date logic: The first digit is the last digit of the manufacturing year (e.g. '2' = 2022). The remaining three digits are the day-of-year (001–366). Chanel uses a rolling 10-year cycle, so context matters.
